Estate agents are the most accident prone of all UK professions when it comes to driving says motor insurance research. %0D%0A %0D%0ACommunity nurses chefs and doctors are also hazardous professions to be driving near. %0D%0A %0D%0AIn contrast farmers are among the least likely to make a motor insurance claim - which researchers attribute to living around quiet rural roads rather than the fact that they drive slow moving tractors. %0D%0A %0D%0AAmbulance drivers are also among the safest drivers as they drive frequently and are used to doing so in all weathers. %0D%0A %0D%0A%22The poorer claims experience associated with doctors and community nurses most likely reflects the long hours they work in a very stressful job%22 said motor insurance spokesman Darren McCauley. %0D%0A %0D%0A%22As a result they are more likely to be tired when driving and possibly distracted. Conversely those who have jobs which involve working outdoors or drive for a living tend to have fewer accidents. %0D%0A %0D%0A%22Estate agents make lots of journeys in their cars during the day - dashing to see clients in urban areas and often parking wherever they can when they arrive%22 he added.
