Female drivers 'flirt to keep clean licence'

Many females in a recent survey revealed they would attempt to flirt their way out of receiving a parking ticket.

According to a YouGov poll, over a third of 18 to 24-year-old drivers say they would consider making advances with a parking attendant to avoid a fine.

However, it seems older ladies are less willing to flirt their way out of the situation, with 61 per cent of 45-year-olds saying they would not consider flouting the law.

Females in the Yorkshire region were more likely to approach the wardens than their southern counterparts, with a quarter saying they would attempt to turn on the charm compared to seven per cent of Londoners.

Kaye Sutcliffe, head of Diva car insurance, said: "I'm not sure guys realise just how shrewd women are when it comes to getting themselves out of trouble. Flirting is just one more device divas deploy to get what they want behind the wheel."

In other female driving news, it was recently claimed by Tina Shortle from SwiftCover.com that ladies-only car insurance policies may not always be the cheapest option.
